Hello my name is Leslie! My mother, who is a registered dental hygienist, introduced me to the dental profession in 1986. I began my career as a dental assistant in a periodontal office. With additional training and certifications in C.P.R. and radiology, I became an expanded duty dental assistant, and then an Office Manager. In 2001 I found the perfect position as Business Assistant for Dr. Garry Salvaggio. With over twenty years of experience in both the clinical and business aspects of dentistry, I am here to help our patients understand their treatment needs and answer questions about insurance, scheduling, and financial options.

After many vacations to New Orleans my parents moved us here in 1982 from Levittown, New York. I am now married and have two beautiful daughters. We love going to the movies, shopping, and from time to time enjoying beignets in the French Quarter.

 

 

 

Hello, my name is Beth.  I began working in the dental profession in January 1999 as a dental assistant.  I worked for over 8 years with a Pediatric Dental Office in Washington State prior to moving to New Orleans.  I have been a part of Dr. Salvaggio’s dental team since June 2008.  I have enjoyed working with Dr. Salvaggio and learning all aspects of general dentistry.

I grew up in Bakersfield, CA and later moved with my family to Tri-Cities, Washington.  My husband and I first visited New Orleans as volunteers with the relief effort following hurricane Katrina.  We fell in love with the city and moved to New Orleans in September 2007.  We live in Mid-City and enjoy spending much of our time in City Park.  I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and recently received my certification as and ASL interpreter.






Hi! I’m Shanna and I have been the Registered Dental Hygienest and Periodontal Therapist with Dr. Salvaggio since June of 2007. I was introduced to hygiene in 1998 by my older sister who is also a hygienist. I attended the University of New Orleans before being accepted into the LSU School of Dentistry in 2005. I graduated from LSUSD with a Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene with licensure to administer local anesthesia. I pride myself on tailoring individualized care and providing a gentle dental experience for all of our patients. I feel fortunate to have a job that I love and to be part of such a great team.

I was born and raised in LaPlace and moved to “the big city” Metairie in 2008. I married my high school sweetheart in a sunset beach ceremony, and I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family any chance I get. My husband and I are both avid sports fans and enjoy cheering for the Saints and the Chicago Cubs! We also enjoy traveling, spending weekends in New Orleans, and bringing our dog to the local parks.
